Jil Sander Fall 2012 Collection

As this is Raf Simons last collection for Jil Sander I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the amazing work he has produced over his 7 years with the brand.  You could wear only his creations and have something for every occasion, be super feminine or tomboy or somewhere in between- there is no ‘wrong time for Jil Sander’ in my opinion.  The words ‘wardrobe staples’ come to mind, because if you found yourself in the extremely lucky position to have a closet that included some of his pieces, I don’t think you’d be able to tell me honestly that they wouldn’t be among the first you reached for. He is a unique talent in a time of often over designed product, and I cannot wait to see where he lands and what he’ll do for that brand.  Also, let us look forward to the return of Jil Sander herself next season!
